It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a month since the first Wax Print outing. Cast, crew, press, friends and family gathered in an intimate space at the Young Vic theatre in London to watch the first cut of Wax Print.
The post-screening Q&A was intense to say the least with questions on identity, exploitation, economics and more besides. The debate continued on long after the last question had been asked.
I like to believe that directors everywhere love to see their film inspire and stimulate dialogue that goes beyond the film itself. Judging by this first screening, Wax Print appears to be doing just that.
As this was the first cut, we asked our beautiful audience to give us their thoughts after the screening and the feedback we received was not only valuable feedback but also encouraging.
