Behind the Scenes

The Edit

Good morning, good afternoon and good evening, I hope you’re having a great day wherever you maybe!

It’s been quite a while since I last posted but there is good reason …we’re finally editing 🙂

Can you believe it’s been two years in the making?! The film is finally starting to come together and it’s been exciting, humbling and terrifying. Seeing the idea I had in my head all these years ago begin to materialise and then realising that as the director I also have the incredibly difficult task of deciding what will make it into the final cut and what to leave on the cutting room floor?!

Watching back through the last two years of interviews around the world I’m reminded of all the wonderful people I had the absolute honour and privilege of meeting and speaking to. This presented me with another director’s dilemma – how to ensure I make a film that does justice to the lives and work of these amazing people but also stays true to the story that needs to be told. I have a firm belief in my team and I know we can do this!

I can’t wait to start sharing some excerpts from the edit and making announcements regarding screenings and festivals for 2018/19.

I’ve had to come off social media in order to focus but I will back on the old twitter, FB and Insta in the coming week to keep you posted.

Thank you for your patience!
